Welcome to Preston Centre, a friendly and vibrant community within Cambridge.
This beautiful neighbourhood is nestled next to the Grand River and surrounded by many amazing parks and natural green spaces.
Let Park Property Management guide you through Preston Centre's best features and its most rewarding amenities!
Our favourite part of Preston Centre is easily its flourishing natural landscapes. When you're looking to take a leisurely stroll or picnic under the sun, there's a park for that! Linear Park follows the banks of the Grand River and features a 3 km nature trail. Dumfries Conservation Area, a 75 hectare natural green space, is just to the south of the community and features forests, wetlands, and nature trails. Preston Centre is also home to the largest community park in Cambridge, Riverside Park, at 102 hectares! This sprawling park features trails, sports fields, playgrounds, and picnic pavilions.
Shopping through Preston Town Centre is a treat with its unique boutiques and established retailers. Spend the day browsing, splurge on a new hair style at One Salons or a spa treatment at The Spa, and then grab a bite at Genesis Latin American Restaurant or a coffee at Anubis Coffee Importing.
There's something for everyone here in Preston Centre! Linear Park has a beautiful community garden that is open for any residents wishing to grow their own fruits or veggies, and the Preston Lawn Bowling Club offers fun activities for all ages. Other community favourites include ice skating at Preston Memorial Auditorium, swimming in the outdoor Ed Newland Pool, and axe throwing at Lumberjacks!
Preston Centre is a quiet, friendly place to live. There are elementary schools, high schools, recreation centres, and daycare centres. There are also several transit stops throughout the community to make travelling across Cambridge quick and easy.
