The colourful leaves and beautiful crisp evenings of fall are almost upon us. Is your home ready for the new season?
Here are some easy ideas to get your house spruced up to welcome fall.

Fix up your entryway

Your entryway is the first thing that people see when they walk in the front door of your home. You want it to be as warm and welcoming as possible. Adding an entryway console table with some fall themed decor is a great way to have your home feeling festive for fall. You can arrange some pumpkins, leaves, and fall scented candles - an easy and affordable way to brighten your entryway, and your family’s mood.

Decorate the front door

The outside of your apartment is the first thing people notice. And, the first thing you and your family will notice when you come home after a long day out. Brightening it up with a fall door sign (this could be Halloween themed or just a general fall theme) is a great way to welcome friends and family to your home. Fall coloured faux flowers are also a great idea to add to your front entryway - think reds, oranges and yellows. You could also consider adding in some pumpkins to the porch and a fall themed door mat.

Add in an electric fireplace

A fireplace is a great way to create a cozy and warm atmosphere inside your home when the outside is getting chilly. There are a number of relatively affordable fireplaces you can choose from online. A bonus – a mantel on top of the fireplace can also work as an extra shelf to add some fall decor.

Bring the smell of fall inside

Nothing says fall like the smell of pumpkins, cinnamon and leaves. Candles can add a cozy atmosphere and nice fall scent to your home this season. Diffusers are also a great idea to place strategically throughout your home, and you don’t have to worry about a fire hazard.
