2019 is fast approaching! If you don't have New Year's Eve plans yet, Park Property Management has some great suggestions for all ages.

Skate under the stars while ringing in the New Year! Head to the Waterloo Public Square for their annual New Year's Eve party with outdoor skating, crafts, and more starting at 6pm. Or, howl at the moon when you attend the Bronte Creek New Year's Eve Party in Oakville! Join a guided 30-minute hike to learn about coyotes and then gather around a campfire for the kids' countdown at 8:30pm.

In Kitchener, head indoors for an all ages event at Kitchener City Hall starting at 6pm, where they're celebrating the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters! You'll find vintage arcade games, photo opportunities, crafts, free ice skating, and a live countdown to midnight.

Another great kid-friendly indoor party is at Hespeler Arena in Cambridge. Enjoy an hour of free skating, games, photo booths, inflatables, and live performances before counting down to the New Year at 8pm. Additionally, the Magical Family New Year's Eve Party at Waterfront Hotel in Burlington offers dinner, favours, and a celebration toast at midnight for all ages.

If you're looking for a quieter evening with a nice dinner and classy countdown at midnight, there are many great restaurants with amazing food and fun New Year's Eve countdowns. In Stratford, The Restaurant at The Bruce is hosting a dinner and champagne countdown. Make your reservations for their 6pm seating or 9pm seating. Alternatively, dine at The Mills Tales Inn in Tillsonburg, ViBo Restaurant in Etobicoke, or Esquire Restaurant in Scarborough.

If you want to be outside with all your friends and people in your community, we've got some massive parties for you! In Guelph, Sparkles in the Park is an outdoor event great for children with early fireworks at 8pm. Mississauga has a huge party each year at Celebration Square with live entertainment, skating, food trucks, and midnight fireworks! And finally, attending the massive event New Year's Eve at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto is a long-standing tradition for many. It kicks off with a skating party at 8pm followed by fabulous entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display!

Many cities offer free transit New Year's Eve through to the morning on January 1st. Please choose a safe ride, and have a very happy new year!
