With children at home, it can be difficult to make sure they're entertained while still learning and being creative.

To help, we've found several authors, artists, and community groups that are helping kids express their creativity through online learning.

Lunchtime Doodles with Mo Willems

Mo Willems, author of the Elephant and Piggie children's book series, is the Artist-in-Residence at The Kennedy Center in Washington. Together, they have created a 15 episode video series that offers tips on drawing, fun games to play, and various crafts. They even have a graduation episode at the end!

Miximal Mondays with Ben Clanton

Every Monday at 12:30pm ET, Ben Clanton, author of the Narwhal and Jelly book series, posts Miximal Mondays on Instagram Live. During these live recordings, Ben takes suggestions from fans on what crazy creature they will draw. All episodes are posted afterwards on the Narwhal and Jelly Facebook page for those without Instagram.

This YouTube channel features a father drawing side by side with his kids. They go through step by step on how to draw things that kids are interested in. You'll find Minecraft characters, Shopkins characters, and characters from popular movies. Check out the Art for Kids Hub videos on YouTube.
