On Halloween night, we want BOOs! not boo-boo's. Safety first!
Tip #1: For those with black or dark costumes, add reflective tape
Tip #2: Avoid trips and falls by ensuring that costumes fit properly and are not too long
Tip #3: Use makeup instead of masks so vision isn't obstructed
Tip #4: Bring a flashlight or download a flashlight app. Use it to light the way up stairs and pathways- Some houses may have halloween decor that could be tripping hazards
Tip #5: Review road safety and stranger rules, especially for older kids with limited or no adult supervision
Tip #6: Only use sidewalks and pathways and don't approach houses that aren't participating in the festivities
Tip #7: Adults- check the candy before anyone digs in and remove all unwrapped items
