The nicest thing about the rain is that is always stops. Eventually. ~Eeyore

Don't wait around for the rain to stop, get out and explore your neighbourhood! We've found some great rainy day adventures near you.

Trade grey skies and soggy streets for the beautiful sights and smell of flowers. Indoor gardens have a way of brightening any mood and there are countless indoor gardens in Ontario, to be discovered. Residents of Burlington can head over to Royal Botanical Gardens for the day and enjoy the amazing floral displays.

Naturally, butterflies are a great rainy-day cure! There are some fantastic butterfly conservatories in Ontario, but residents of our Kitchener and Cambridge properties can visit the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory and view the butterflies, tropical birds, exotic plants, and variety of fascinating insects.

Use the wet weather as a great excuse to learn more about your city and its history. Take the day to explore your local museum or historical site and soak up your city's heritage. In Tillsonburg, the Annandale National Historic Site hosts family friendly programs, changing historical exhibits, and fun events throughout the year.

Just because it's raining doesn't mean you have to stay dry! Take the family to an indoor waterpark or the local YMCA and have a dip in the pool! Residents of our Mill Road property can walk or drive to the impressive Etobicoke Olympium to swim, work out, or enjoy sports activities. If you'd rather stay dry, but love the water, why not escape to Ripley's Aquarium of Canada in Toronto? Surround yourself with over 16,000 aquatic animals and enjoy the underwater views!

Heading to the theatre is a great way to escape the rainy-day blues. With incredible theaters all around, you'll have no problem finding a great play to enjoy. One of the best theatres in Ontario is the Stratford Festival, this classic theatre has something for everyone.

Let the rainy weather bring out the kid in you! Residents of our Mississauga and Oakville properties can take the short drive to Air Riderz Trampoline Park for a day of jumping, playing dodgeball, sliding, or climbing!

When all else fails, shop 'til you drop! Get inspired at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, find the unexpected at Stone Road Mall in Guelph, or head to the spectacular Scarborough Town Centre and shop their 230+ retailers!

Whether it's a good book, a cozy café, or one of these great rainy-day adventures, Park Property Management hopes you make the most of these April Showers!
