Effective July 1, 2026, Lutz Loegters will assume the role of President, succeeding Gerd Wengler, who will retire on June 30, 2026, following 26 years of leadership and service.
This transition is a culmination of thoughtful succession planning and reflects Park Property Management Inc.’s (Park) continued commitment to operational excellence, disciplined growth, and long-term value creation.
Lutz joined Park in 2024 as Managing Director and has played an integral role in advancing the organization's strategic priorities. He brings extensive experience in real estate and infrastructure investment across Canada, the United States, and Europe, with expertise spanning asset management, acquisitions, and project development.
Building upon the organization's longstanding owner-operator model, Lutz will focus on strengthening Park’s portfolio of more than 11,500 residential homes across almost 100 properties. In parallel, with over 1,000 units already under active construction, Lutz will help drive growth through Park’s newly launched dedicated platform for project development and long-term value creation, ParkProperty Development Inc. (PPD). PPD is advancing residential intensification opportunities and a development pipeline of more than 10,000 residential units across Ontario.
“Lutz has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic clarity, and a deep commitment to our values. Equally impressive are the genuine relationships he has cultivated with our employees and the communities we serve.” said Mr. Wengler. “He is well positioned to lead the organization into its next chapter.”
Mr. Loegters added, “I am excited to be taking on this new role and its new responsibilities, and to be surrounded by people who are experts in what they do. When you are part of this organization, you quickly learn that there is something quite intangible, yet incredibly valuable here—and that is the trust that is placed in you, and the trust that is expected of you. I look forward to building on that foundation as we continue to grow and serve our residents, employees, and communities.”
Park extends its sincere appreciation to Gerd for his leadership since joining the organization in 2000. His contribution and dedication have been instrumental in shaping Park's growth and success.
As President, Lutz will lead Park into its next phase of growth. Expansion is planned through purpose-built rental development and strategic acquisitions, building on our strong foundation and advancing Park’s commitment to residents, communities, and long-term value creation.
