The best way to experience this year's Winter Olympics is to try a sport, yourself!

Here at Park Property Management, we found some great places to get into the action from the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics.

If you have been following our Canadian curling teams at the Olympics, why not give it a try yourself! There are many clubs that offer lessons all season for all ages. In Guelph, you can learn to curl at a February or March session at the Guelph Curling Club. Or, for residents in the Toronto area, the Leaside Curling Club has a Learn to Curl clinic in April.

Our Canadian opening ceremony flag-bearers were Figure Skaters Tessa & Scott. Cheer on our athletes, in all of the skating events and then get on the ice yourself for some fun. Recreational skating is a great activity for all ages, but it's a lot more fun when you know how to skate. If you are looking to get back into the sport, or to just feel more confident on the ice, head to the Stratford Skating Club and try the Adult CANSkate program. The club also has Figure Skating programs for all ages. There are a variety of Spring skating programs for both children and adults in Etobicoke, Cambridge, and Burlington.

Downhill skiing and snowboarding provides a great workout and is a lot of fun! Our Olympic athletes will compete in 10 snowboarding events and 48 skiing events between February 7th and the 25th. If you've always wanted to learn to ski or snowboard, now is the perfect time to try it! Chicopee Ski Resort in Kitchener has lessons for all ages and Earl Bales Ski and Snowboard Centre, in Toronto, has a variety of weekly lessons available.

No snow? No Problem! The Alpine Indoor Ski & Snowboard Training Centre in Mississauga, offers lessons for all ages, all year long! For those who are less adventurous, cross country skiing is a great alternative! The Scarborough Ski Club provides free lessons for all members. Additionally, the Annandale Park in Tillsonburg is perfect for cross country skiers providing a wide-open area to explore.

Have fun and don't forget to tune in and cheer on our Canadian Olympic team
