Fall is here, the air is getting fresher, and we are beginning to see the last green leaves turn red, orange, and yellow. But it's not time to hibernate yet! There are a variety of activities you and your community can do together even in the cooler months. It's time to get creative! Browsing your local shops and markets is a great way to get more in touch with the goods and services your community has to offer and is a great way to support local businesses over the holidays. Utilize social media by tagging and snapping photos of these local businesses to spread the word and invite others to your community to enjoy what it has to offer!

Here's 5 activities you can do this fall:

Decor

Get the neighbors in on the decor! Halloween and fall themed decorations on your door are always a fun and festive way to spruce up your home and can be a great way to involve your building's community.

Visit a Pumpkin Patch

A visit to a pumpkin patch or local farm is an exciting fall ritual for many. Here's a list of the most picturesque pumpkin patches and farms in the GTA for you to visit, take pictures at, and get the perfect pumpkin!

Host a Potluck

Potlucks are always a great community event and can create friendships and bonds that last a lifetime. Get a small group together to bring their favourite warming fall dishes/drinks and find a safe gathering point to bring the food together and make an evening out of it. There's nothing better than some homemade apple pie or chili and warm apple cider!

Go See the Fall Foliage

Of course, we couldn't write a fall blog without mentioning the stunning colours of fall. Check out our other blog to see the best spots in the province (including every Park Property community) to see the fall foliage.

Watch Classic Movies

Cozy up with friends and family and put on your favourite Halloween movie. Make some popcorn and hot chocolate (pumpkin spiced of course) and watch some classics such as "Hocus Pocus" or "The Shining." Get your scary on!

Bundle up and enjoy this beautiful season! Winter will soon be here and all the exciting activities that come with it.
